Wordsmith Showdown is an interactive text-based game where players step into the shoes of a struggling poet who finds themselves inexplicably summoned to a mystical arena, where they must compete in a series of battle-of-the-verse challenges against eccentric literary figures from history. Players will navigate through quirky scenarios, crafting poems and witty responses to outwit adversaries like Shakespeare, Emily Dickinson, and T.S. Eliot. Choices will lead to dramatic showdowns filled with puns, absurdity, and unexpected twists, ultimately deciding if the player becomes the Spoken Word Champion or ends up in the eternal 'Hall of Forgotten Verses.'
