Whose Verse is It, Anyway?

Set in a whimsical world where every character and plot twist is determined by the whims of an unseen author, players navigate through various fictional genres—from heroic fantasy to gritty noir—each with its own unique rules and tropes. You'll take on the role of a character aware of their existence within a story, attempting to outsmart the narrative forces that seek to confine them to clichéd roles. Using humor and creativity, players rewrite scenes, negotiate with other characters, and bend the rules of their genres to build a plot of their own making. Can you dodge the clichés and claim your story's ownership?
