Whose Shadow is This, Anyway?

In a bustling city where dimly lit back alleys hide secrets and shadows have a life of their own, you play as a cynical private investigator named Alex Shade. One night, while following a lead on a missing person case, you stumble upon an underground society that communicates through shadows, each representing a hidden truth or a regret. As you unfold the layers of this society, you must interact with various characters, negotiate deals, uncover betrayals, and decide whom to trust when the shadows themselves seem to offer conflicting narratives. The deeper you go, the more entangled you become in a web of suspense and surrealism, turning your investigation into a dramatic race against time and shadowy forces that threaten not just your case, but your life.
