Set in a whimsical and slightly twisted carnival realm, players assume the role of Jax, a gifted shadow puppeteer whose shadows have mysteriously begun to detach from their owners, creating chaos across the fairgrounds. Players must interact with colorful characters, unsolve riddles, and piece together the enigma behind the disappearing shadows while navigating through games of chance, outlandish attractions, and a shadowy antagonist that lurks just out of sight. Each decision impacts the storyline, leading to multiple endings based on the friends made, foes encountered, and secrets uncovered.
