In a quirky town where shadows have personalities of their own, you play as a hapless detective named Max. A bizarre wave of shadow-related incidents has triggered a mix of comedy and chaos—people are losing their shadows, shadows are gaining independence, and a shadowy figure is at large, causing havoc in the town. It’s your job to navigate through absurd conversations with animated shadows, determine their motives, and solve the puzzle of the missing shadows. Each character's shadow provides clues, but they often twist the truth just like their own forms. Will you manage to retrieve the shadows, or will you become the only detective without your own shadow?
