Whose Shadow Is This, Anyway?

In this interactive text-based game, you play as Sam, a disillusioned detective who has just returned to their hometown after years away. On the night of the annual carnival, strange shadows begin to appear, first hauntingly beautiful and gradually turning darker. As townsfolk begin to vanish one by one, you must unravel the enigma of the shadows before the carnival ends, and worse yet, before you become one of them. Navigate complex dialogues, psychoanalyze suspects, and follow deceptive clues, all while confronting your own haunted past and the disturbing possibility that the shadows are manifestations of your own fears.
