Set in a quirky suburban neighborhood where shadows have started to manifest their own identities, players assume the role of a sardonic private investigator tasked with unraveling the strange happenings. Each encounter with a shadow leads to absurd dialogues and outlandish scenarios involving the cast of bizarre neighbors. Players must piece together clues, navigate eccentric relationships, and uncover the truth behind why these shadows have taken on a life of their own, all while maintaining their dark humor and staying one step ahead of the shifting shadows, who may or may not have sinister agendas of their own.
