Whose Shadow is This, Anyway?

In this text-based interactive game, players assume the role of Alex, a down-on-their-luck private investigator hired to solve a strange and unsettling case involving a citywide phenomenon: people waking up to find shadows that don't belong to them. As Alex delves deeper into the mystery, they encounter a cast of eccentric characters, each with secrets tied to their own shadows. Players must navigate a web of deception, confront psychological challenges, and uncover the truth behind the shadows while making choices that determine the outcome of the story. Will they unveil the dark connections between the shadows and the city's past, or will they become ensnared in their own personal shadows? The stakes rise as Alex's own past begins to catch up with them, leading to dramatic confrontations and unexpected twists.
