Set in a dystopian future where shadows have taken on a life of their own, players assume the role of Alex, a Shadowref, who has the unique ability to communicate with shadows. As Alex traverses through a city cloaked in darkness, they must solve mysteries tied to urban legends, uncover hidden truths, and confront their own haunted past. Players interact with various shadow personalities, each with their own quirks and histories, to gather clues and piece together the overarching narrative.
