In a world where shadows have minds of their own, you play as Stella, a shape-shifter maxing out quirky transformations after a freak accident in a magical lab. When enigmatic citizens start to lose their own shadows to a peculiar shadow-thief, Stella must team up with an eclectic cast of shadow-friends who each have unique abilities. Travel through a bustling metropolis during the day and an eerie dreamscape at night, solving puzzles, deciphering riddles, and confronting shadow-monsters. Each chosen shadow can provide clues to unravel the town's deep-rooted secrets and pinpoint who—or what—is taking the shadows. Your choices will shape the outcome, leading to multiple endings based on ally bonds and power-ups.
