In a bustling metropolis where greetings hold more weight than mere words, players assume the role of Kai, a sarcastic introvert with a knack for deciphering social cues. After receiving a mysterious box filled with unclaimed 'hellos' (messages, greetings, and even failed attempts at small talk), Kai embarks on a quest to unravel the stories behind them. Each greeting leads to unique encounters with a cast of quirky characters, from an eccentric poet to a conspiracy theorist lost in the power of hello.
