In 'Whose Heart Is It Anyway?', players assume the role of a heartless protagonist who wakes up in a peculiar hospital where patients are losing their hearts to various absurd conditions: a passion for karaoke, a doomed love affair with a fictional character, and an uncontrollable obsession with knitting. As the player investigates the humorous and bizarre circumstances of the patients' conditions, they must make choices that impact whether they will reclaim their own heart, which turns out to be stuck in a black market trade among hearts throughout the city.
