Whose Heart Is It Anyway?

In a world where literal heart ownership determines status and power, players find themselves in the shoes of Max, an outcast who stumbles upon a mysterious Heart Exchange — a back-alley marketplace where people sell, trade, and even gamble their hearts. Every heart has a unique story and abilities, but there's a catch: each one comes with its own quirks and personality. Players must navigate through morally ambiguous exchanges, unravel absurd plots, and confront the ever-dramatic consequences of their choices while collecting hearts that resonate with their character's quest for identity and belonging. To succeed, Max must outwit conniving merchants, dodge heartless bounty hunters, and ultimately decide whose heart they’re willing to claim as their own in a society where being heartless is unforgivably common.
