In a twisted city where organ transplants are run by a corrupt, underground syndicate, players assume the role of Jamie, a detective suffering from amnesia who awakens in an unfamiliar hospital. Unbeknownst to Jamie, their heart has been replaced with that of a mysterious stranger. Armed with nothing but a smartphone app that can provide clues based on the emotional memories of the heart’s previous owner, players must navigate through a dark web of betrayal, secrets, and deception to not only reclaim their own identity but ultimately see if they can piece together the life and tragedies of the one who ‘donated’ the heart. Choices made throughout the game influence Jamie’s perception, the manifestation of past memories, and even the psyche of the heart’s original owner, requiring careful navigation through both physical and emotional landscapes.
