In a fantastical world where emotions and memories are literally siphoned from people's hearts, you play as a Heartkeeper, a quirky rogue with the unique ability to 'borrow' hearts temporarily. When a series of heart heists disrupt the emotional landscape of the realm, you must navigate through a network of eccentric characters—from melodramatic former nobles to jaded poets—to piece together the puzzle of stolen hearts. With each encounter, you can choose to take on the emotions of the hearts you 'borrow,' which impacts your abilities and the story. Will you find the true culprit, or will you end up with a mismatched collection of hearts?
