In a futuristic society where halos (invisible mental devices) are the new fashion statement, players assume the role of Vex, a snarky detective with an uncanny ability to detect truth through sarcasm. One day, they stumble upon a series of mysterious halos scattered across the city, each belonging to a different celebrity whose lives take a surreal turn depending on whose halo is found first.
