In "Whose Face Is This, Anyway?", you play as a quirky private investigator named Max Smirk who has a knack for getting into absurd situations. One fateful morning, Max wakes up in an unfamiliar motel room, hungover and with no memory of the previous night. To make matters worse, a series of bizarre and comical facial transformations begin to occur—each time he looks in the mirror, he sees a different, outlandish face staring back at him! As Max seeks to unravel why he is stuck in this twisted phenomenon, he stumbles across a web of zany characters, each with their own intentions and ties to a mysterious case involving the theft of an unusual artifact: the Face of Truth. Choices made throughout the game lead to different humorous and dramatic interactions, forcing players to navigate a world of deception, mistaken identities, and plenty of puns.
