In 'What’s in the Box?', players assume the role of a quirky paranormal investigator, tasked with solving the mystery behind strange objects left in abandoned buildings throughout a forgotten town. Each object tells a story through interactive narration, leading the player on wild tangents filled with humor, oddball characters, and unexpected twists. As players explore crumbling libraries, dilapidated train stations, and haunted factories, they must piece together clues, engage with eccentric locals, and use their wit to uncover the origins and purpose of these mysterious items before an imminent town council meeting forces an end to their investigation.
