As a member of a Nestorian Christian group in 6th century CE, you learn of the Byzantine emperor's desire to establish a local silk industry. You embark on a dangerous journey to China to acquire live silkworms and smuggle them back to Byzantium, facing treacherous terrain, hostile bandits, and the wrath of the Chinese authorities.
