The Paradoxical Chronicles: Whose Quest is it, Anyway?

In this text-based adventure, players assume the role of a charismatic historian who stumbles upon a mysterious artifact that grants the ability to travel through time. However, each leap through time begins as a random event, leading the protagonist to significant historical moments that vary dramatically based on humorous and often absurd alternative realities. Players must navigate through chaotic timelines where they must negotiate with infamous historical figures, solve convoluted puzzles that distort logic, and confront paradoxes that challenge their very existence. As they journey through these alternate histories, they must gather clues and artifacts to return to their own timeline, all while trying to figure out whose quest this truly is, theirs or the universe's?
