After stumbling upon a mysterious theater troupe claiming to teach 'the art of shadows,' Grimly quickly finds themselves entangled in an intricate web of deceit involving an enigmatic witch, runaway magical relics, and a rival witchhunter determined to expose the troupe’s secrets.
