Shadowplay: Whose Shadow Is This, Anyway?

In this interactive text-based game, players step into the shoes of a down-on-their-luck private investigator, Charlie Chaze, who finds themselves in a peculiar predicament. After receiving a shadowy package containing an enigmatic artifact, Charlie discovers it's linked to a forgotten realm where shadows come to life and hold the secrets of their hosts. As Charlie navigates through quirky, whimsical towns filled with eccentric residents—each with their own shadowy secrets—they must solve puzzles, cut deals with shady characters, and unravel the mysterious origin of the artifact before a powerful shadow figure claims it for themselves. The choices players make will shape the narrative, blurring the lines between light and dark, and determining the fate of both Charlie and their new shadowy acquaintances.
