In a surreal world where shadows are sentient beings that reflect the hidden desires and secrets of their counterparts, players step into the shoes of Max, a struggling artist who has lost touch with his own ambitions. When shadows begin to mysteriously disappear, plunging the world into chaos, Max must embark on a bizarre quest across various realms to locate them.
