Questception: Whose Journey Is It Anyway?

In this mind-bending interactive text-based game, players take on the role of a reluctant protagonist who realizes they are trapped in a quest loop, where every decision branches off into different absurd realities. Throughout the game, you navigate through increasingly bizarre quests that both parody and pay homage to classic fantasy tropes. Players interact with quirky characters who are aware of their own fictional existence and often break the fourth wall. Each decision determines not only the outcome of the current quest but also resets the entire adventure, creating layers of quests within quests (Questception!). The challenge lies in piecing together the fractured narrative while trying to discover who really controls the journey: the player, the characters, or the unseen writer behind the curtain.
