Questception: Whose Adventure Is It Anyway?

In this satirical interactive text-based game, players dive deep into a world where stories and quests collide in absurdly entertaining ways. You play as Alex, an aspiring hero who realizes they are just a pawn in a series of interconnected quests orchestrated by a chaotic writer. Each choice you make can lead to bizarre alternate realities, ridiculous plot twists, and charmingly incompetent side characters. As Alex navigates through layers of quests—each one more absurd than the last—they must ultimately confront the writer themselves in a showdown that questions the very nature of storytelling and agency. Players can choose to embrace their role as the hero, fight against the narrative, or even join the writer's chaotic world, changing their story with each decision.
