Questception: Who's Journey Is It Anyway?

In this interactive text-based adventure, players embark on an elaborate journey that takes place within a sequence of layers, each with its own narrative twist. You take on the role of a self-aware character, navigating through quests that misunderstand you, exploit cliches, and hilariously turn the conventions of storytelling upside down. As you dive deeper, you encounter various narratives – a heroic fantasy, a detective noir, and a post-apocalyptic saga – each layer blending the absurdity of tropes with your quest for identity and purpose. Can you unravel the mystery of whose journey you're really on, while dealing with the consequences of narrative threads pulled from character archetypes and plot devices?
