In the year 2077, a new cellular pathway for clearing misfolded proteins from the body has been discovered. Players take on the role of a genetically modified human tasked with clearing misfolded proteins from cells in order to save humanity from neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and Huntington's. The catch? As cells strive to survive, they respond with deadly force against any outside influence or attack.
