Prophecy Roulette

In a not-so-distant future, a cult of futuristic soothsayers has monopolized the art of prophecy, leaving the fate of humanity in the hands of their whims. Players take on the role of Ricky 'Rook' Mercer, a cynical former journalist who accidentally stumbles into a world where futures are bought and sold like commodities. As Rook navigates this noir-inspired dystopia, he must unravel a conspiracy involving false prophecies, a power-hungry corporation, and a rebellion that has lost hope. Engaging in branching narratives, players can choose to side with the rebels, manipulate the soothsayers, or even forge their own destiny. Each choice cracks open layers of intrigue, twists, and dark humor, all while the clock ticks down to an apocalyptic event that no one—not even the soothsayers—can predict.
