Infinity Arcade is a website run by The Maximalist ("we", "our" or "us") where people browse, create and play AI-generated text games. This policy explains what information the site collects, how it is used, and which third-party services are involved.
Accounts. If you sign up, we store your email address and a hashed version of your password (we never store the password itself). Your account also records whether the games you create should be private. Signing in sets a signed, HTTP-only cookie that identifies your account on later requests.
Browser session. Every visitor gets a signed, HTTP-only session cookie with a random identifier. It links the games you play to your browser so you can continue a conversation, and it protects forms against cross-site requests. After you pass a bot check we also set a short-lived cookie that lets you keep playing without repeating the check. These cookies are not used for advertising.
Content you submit. When you create a game we store the description you typed along with the generated game. When you play, we store your messages and the game's replies as a conversation linked to your account or, if you are not signed in, to your browser session. We do not log the text of prompts or conversations in server logs.
Purchases. Pro purchases are handled by Stripe. We receive and store the order details Stripe sends us, including the email address and checkout details you provide to Stripe and the amount paid, so we can link the purchase to your account.
Technical data. Our servers use your IP address to apply rate limits while a request is being handled. Operational logs record errors and events needed to run the site and may include an account identifier such as your email address for purchase events.
Games are public unless your account is set to private. Public games, including their title, description, genre and artwork, appear on the site, in search and in listings that search engines can index. The text you typed to create a game is not shown publicly. Private games and their artwork are only visible to the account that created them. Conversations are not published; signed-in users can see their own recent games and conversations on their account page.
AI generation. Game creation and play are powered by language models reached through OpenRouter and the model providers it routes to. To generate a game or a turn we send them the text you submitted, the game's details and recent messages from the current conversation.
Content moderation. Before anything is generated or saved, submitted text is checked by our own rules and then by OpenAI's moderation service. The text sent to OpenAI includes what you submitted, the generated text, and selected saved messages from the conversation you are continuing so the check has context. Text rejected by our own rules is not sent anywhere.
Bot protection. Creating and playing games uses Cloudflare Turnstile. Cloudflare may process information about your browser and connection to decide whether you are a bot, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Payments. Stripe processes Pro purchases and collects payment details directly. We do not receive or store card numbers.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Google sets its own cookies and receives information about your visit as described in Google's privacy policy.
Some page assets, such as stylesheets, are loaded from public content delivery networks, which receive your IP address when they serve those files.
We use this information to run the site: to generate games and turns, keep your games and conversations available, apply content rules, prevent abuse, process purchases, and understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not sell your personal information.
We use reasonable measures, such as hashed passwords and signed cookies, to protect your information, but no online service can promise complete security. We may update this policy; when we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
If you have questions about this policy or about the information we hold about you, contact us at [email protected].
