In 'Nightmare Weavers', players assume the role of a skilled dreamcatcher named Lyra tasked with traversing the vivid and twisted realms of dreams and nightmares after a cosmic event causes nightmares to leak into reality. As Lyra, players will navigate through bizarre and often distressing dreamscapes, each influenced by the fears and desires of their inhabitants. Along the way, they must collect fragments of lost dreams while confronting surreal creatures and making choices that will either mend the fabric of the dream world or plunge it deeper into chaos. With each decision, players shape their own narrative, unearthing secrets about their own past and the origin of their powers as a dreamcatcher.
