Nightmare Chronicles: Whose Nightmare Is It Anyway?

In this interactive text-based game, players step into the shoes of Alex, a struggling playwright whose life takes an unexpected turn when he discovers a manuscript that pulls him into the twisted dreams of its characters. As Alex weaves through surreal landscapes filled with absurdities and dark humor, he must navigate different narrative threads stemming from the fears and aspirations of each character. The challenge is to choose wisely; every decision alters the storyline, leading to bizarre encounters with nightmarish creatures and tongue-in-cheek commentary from characters who seem to be aware of their fictional nature. The objective? Confront the source of the manuscript's nightmares and uncover the truth behind Alex’s own tangled psyche, all while trying to keep his wit - and sanity - intact.
