Nightmare Chronicles: Whose Nightmare is it Anyway?

Step into a world where dreams bleed into reality in this interactive text-based game. You play as Alex, a struggling writer who stumbles upon a mysterious manuscript that allows them to enter the nightmares of others. Each dream presents a unique, surreal landscape filled with phobias and desires, from spiraling down a never-ending staircase to confronting shadowy versions of people the dreamer fears. Players must navigate these twisted worlds, solve puzzles, and collect fragments of the characters' stories, all while battling the sinister forces that feed on their fears. As Alex, you'll learn that each nightmare holds a key to your own deepest anxieties, creating a dramatic interplay between the characters’ tales and your own unresolved dilemmas. The choices you make affect not only the dreamers' outcomes but also how you confront your own nightmare.
