In 'Nightmare Chronicles', you take on the role of a jaded dreams psychologist, Dr. Vex Mallory, who is unexpectedly trapped in the twisted dreamscapes of her eccentric patients. As you navigate these surreal and often absurd dream worlds, you must unravel the psychological turmoil of each patient while facing bizarre entities that embody their fears and desires. The game blends comedic elements with psychological horror, allowing players to switch between helping patients confront their nightmares and piecing together Vex's own unresolved past. Every choice influences the outcomes for both Vex and her patients, leading to multiple endings that range from heartwarming to unexpectedly dark.
