In a world where nightmares manifest as physical realms, players take on the role of a reluctant dreamer named Sam who has accidentally become the custodian of a wildly chaotic dream world filled with absurd and eerie characters. Journey through nightmarish landscapes, each reflecting the fears of different inhabitants, from a melodramatic vampire obsessed with existential poetry to a sentient anxiety monster who just wants approval. Players must navigate surreal challenges and decide the fates of nightmare dwellers, all while maintaining their own sanity. The outcome of each encounter will determine whether Sam can avert a widespread nightmare collapse or if they'll become just another resident of the dreamscape's chaotic embrace.
