Players step into the shoes of Alex, a dream analyst who wakes up in a bizarre world where nightmares take form. Players must navigate through surreal landscapes, confront their own fears, and piece together clues from the dreamers whose nightmares are entangled with reality. As they interact with quirky dream characters and solve puzzles, they must choose between saving these dreamers or finding a way to wake up before they too are consumed by the nightmares.
