Narrative Nexus

In 'Narrative Nexus', players step into the shoes of Jet, a self-aware story character who discovers that their life is a mishmash of borrowed plots and recycled tropes. Players navigate a surreal world where various literary genres collide, bending the narrative itself. Jet must confront archetypal characters—like the disgruntled hero, the overly dramatic love interest, and the villain with a tragic backstory—as they exploit the narrative tropes for their own gain. As players make choices, the world shifts dynamically, affected by conventions of genres like fantasy, horror, sci-fi, and romance. The objective is to reclaim Jet’s narrative agency before being swallowed by the whims of the authors lurking in the margins of the page.
