In a not-so-distant future, Earth has been invaded by extraterrestrial beings who have implanted mind-controlling microchips in every human. These microchips, the size of small plates, illuminate with a green beacon in the heart of every city, and all humans are required to wear head coverings to show homage to their new overlords. You play as Alex, a genetically modified white American girl who feels the tug of loyalty towards the aliens due to her conditioning but also possesses a flicker of free will. As you navigate a world where compliance is sacrament and resistance can lead to harsher 'upgrades,' you must forge alliances, inspire rebellion, and battle your own programming. With every decision, your journey could tip the scale between subjugation and liberation for humanity.
