MetaQuest: Whose Adventure Is It Anyway?

Step into the role of a whimsically self-aware character in a world where storytelling rules are fluid, and genres collide unexpectedly. In this interactive text-based game, players embark on a quest to reclaim their narrative from an author who has gone rogue, introducing absurd plot twists at every turn. As players navigate through unpredictable scenarios—ranging from a heart-wrenching tale of lost love in a space opera to an over-the-top action sequence involving a rubber chicken—they must make choices that influence the story's outcome while also parodying classic tropes. With each decision, players get closer to confronting their author, facing the ultimate question: Are we the masters of our story, or just the pawns in someone else's plot?
