MetaQuest: Whose Adventure Is It Anyway?

Step into the quirky realms of 'MetaQuest', an interactive text-based game that blurs the lines between creator and creation. Players take control of a self-aware protagonist who is stuck in an unfinished narrative. As the protagonist navigates through a series of bizarre and unexpected scenarios created by an unseen 'Author'—who has abandoned their manuscript—you must rewrite your own fate. Engage with static characters who occasionally break the fourth wall, ponder philosophical questions about storytelling, and solve absurd puzzles that might involve convincing side characters they’re not just figments of your imagination. Each choice you make spins the tale into hilariously unpredictable directions, leading to multiple possible endings that often poke fun at standard adventure tropes.
