MetaQuest: Whose Adventure Is It Anyway?

In this interactive text-based game, players step into the shoes of a reluctant storyteller who has been swept into a chaotic realm where all fictional characters reside. However, things have gone hilariously wrong. Characters from various genres—heroes, villains, sidekicks, and even props—are vying to determine who gets to dictate the plot of their own adventure. Players must navigate through absurd scenarios, negotiate deals, and make ludicrous choices while the characters bicker, scheme, and sometimes team up (or not) to claim narrative power. With every decision impacting the flow of the story, players will encounter hilarious plot twists, unpredictable characters, and the occasional fourth-wall-breaking commentary about clichés in storytelling. Get ready for a satirical romp through the world of storytelling as you puzzle through who truly owns the adventure.
