MetaQuest: Whose Adventure Is It, Anyway?

In this interactive text-based game, players take on the role of a disgruntled narrative voice in a traditional fantasy setting who has grown tired of the clichéd tropes and predictable narratives. As the 'meta-narrator', you crack jokes and manipulate the storyline while guiding a hilariously clueless band of heroes through various absurd challenges. Players can choose to rewrite quests, impose ridiculous character traits, or switch the genre entirely mid-story. The unpredictability of choices leads to wild outcomes and unpredictable cooperation among characters who begin to outwit their surroundings and challenge you, the narrator, in your control over the adventure. Will you embrace the chaos or attempt to restore order to your misguided tale?
