In a world where video game characters are self-aware, you take on the role of a rogue NPC named Pixel. Tired of following pre-scripted actions, Pixel decides to rally a group of famous and forgotten characters to overthrow the tyrannical Player, who constantly forces them into repetitive scenarios. As Pixel, you'll navigate a glitchy universe filled with iconic references, secret areas, and comedy as you team up with oddball characters like a disgruntled sidekick, a hyperactive tutorial guide, and a boss monster with abandonment issues. With choices that impact character relationships and the ultimate showdown against the Player, every decision can change the course of the game—and possibly the entire meta-universe!
