In a near-future Earth, a mysterious alien race known as the Zytharians has conquered humanity, fitting each person with a microchip that enhances their sense of loyalty and obedience. Players assume the role of Alex, a once-critical journalist. Under the influence of the chip, Alex believes serving the Zytharians is a great honor, reporting to the human populace on the 'benefits' of their new overlords. Unbeknownst to the world, a small group of rebels who have resisted the microchip's effects are plotting to expose the truth. As Alex navigates through daily interactions, government propaganda, and alien intrigue, players will face moral choices that test their allegiance and sanity.
