In 'Laughter's Last Stand,' you play as Chuck, a washed-up stand-up comedian who wakes up in a bizarre parallel universe where laughter holds the power to shape reality. The fabric of this world, however, is unraveling due to a mysterious anarchist organization known as the Gloom Brigade, who believe that laughter is a weapon of oppression. Navigate through twisted comedy clubs, confront your own insecurities, and team up with a motley crew of characters (including a sarcastic puppet and an overly serious mime) to reclaim laughter and save the universe from becoming a drab, joyless void. Choices you make will affect the flow of your comedic performance and the reactions of the characters around you, leading to hysterical and absurd outcomes.
