Grimm's Folklore: Shadows of Storytelling

I thought fairy tales were just bedtime stories, but it turns out they come with a side of nightmares!

Set against the backdrop of 19th-century Germany, players take on the role of a young apprentice to the Brothers Grimm, tasked with collecting and preserving folk tales from the local peasantry. However, as the apprentice journeys through enchanted forests and moonlit villages, they uncover dark secrets, magical creatures, and twisted versions of classic tales. Each choice made will alter the outcome of not just the tales they gather, but also the fate of the brothers and their quest to define a national identity through storytelling. Will they restore the glory of fading folklore or unleash the horrors hidden within the tales? The game explores themes of authenticity in storytelling, cultural identity, and the duality of folklore as both a unifier and a source of terror.
