Genie in a High School

In a twist on the classic genie tale, follow a bratty high school girl named Crystal who discovers an ancient lamp in the dusty corner of her school’s basement. When she rubs the lamp, she inadvertently releases Jasmine, a sassy, hijab-wearing genie in a pink bellydancer costume who has been trapped for centuries. Together, they weave through high school hijinks, granting wishes that don’t go quite as planned, from turning teachers into cupcakes to making rivals sing at lunch. But as Crystal's wishes spiral out of control, she soon learns that the real price of magic is often personal. In a shocking finale, Crystal is tricked by Jasmine and ends up switching places, now the new genie of the lamp, with Jasmine free to enjoy life as her mistress.
