However, in a hilariously chaotic turn of events, Mortimer accidentally gains the ability to alter the fates of others on a whim. The world around you is absurd, populated with eccentric characters like Deadline Jones, a procrastinator whose luck is running out, and Fortune McFluke, an opportunist who can turn any misfortune into profit.
