Egotrip: Whose Adventure Is It Anyway?

In a world where the boundaries of reality are as thin as the main character's self-esteem, you play as Alex, a self-proclaimed hero who believes they are the protagonist of their own epic saga. Traveling through a series of whimsically absurd and ever-changing narratives, from melodramatic feuds with egomaniacal villains to ludicrous encounters with eccentric side characters who all insist they are the star of the story, Alex must navigate their desires for fame, glory, and validation while also unwittingly guiding the narrative arcs of others. Choices lead down multiple pathways, whether steering clear of disastrous plot twists or diving headfirst into hilariously chaotic conflicts, as you grapple with the question: Is it Alex’s adventure, or is it truly someone else’s turn to shine?
