Ego Odyssey: Whose Adventure is it Anyway?

In this text-based adventure, you play as a self-absorbed hero who wakes up in a chaotic multiverse where other characters from various genres are vying for the spotlight. As you navigate through different storylines—from epic fantasies to gritty detective noir—you must convince (or manipulate) other characters to follow your lead while maintaining your own ego. Each choice you make alters the universe and shapes your journey, allowing you to gain or lose 'prestige points' as you interact with characters and challenge the norms of their stories. Will you save the day or steer the plot toward complete absurdity? It's a race to keep your name in the title when the true author is revealed!
