In a near-future metropolis where personal data is the currency of survival, players take on the role of a rogue data courier named Byte. After accidentally uncovering a government conspiracy involving the illicit trade of private information across regional borders (inspired by the dynamics of Europe's data privacy regulations), Byte must navigate a web of corporate espionage, shady hackers, and government agents. The game emphasizes dialogue choices, moral dilemmas, and the need to forge alliances with diverse characters while managing Byte’s personal data intertwined with the fate of the city.
